Course description:
In Australia we offer our international students a Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane)
A commercial pilot license (CPL), is a type of pilot licence that permits the holder to act as a pilot of an aircraft and be paid for his/her work.
The basic requirements to obtain the license and the privileges it confers are agreed internationally by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). According to ICAO, to be eligible for a commercial pilot license, the applicant must;
be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
already hold a private pilot license
have received training in the areas of a commercial pilot
successfully complete the relevant written exams.
This course includes both flight training and theory training – that means you will master the practical while engaged with the theoretical.

You will complete a minimum of 150 hours flying which includes at least:
70 hours as pilot in command
20 hours cross country as pilot in command
10 hours instrument flight time

52 weeks full time Entry Requirements
17 years of age upon enrolment, 18 years of age to sit a flight test
International students:
a pass in an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 6.0 or equivalent; or
completion of Year 12 English at an Australian school or college, or equivalent
